This article tackles the labour corresponding to the opening conference that its author imparted during the V Bolivian National Eucharistic Congress, which was performed on September 2015 in Tarija (Bolivia). There, the huge significance of the essential Eucharistic sign of Jesus, the "breaking of bread" in all the versions of the Eucharistic Institution of the NT and its echo in the other Eucharistic references of the NT is shown. Through this study, the Eucharistic dynamism of the Body of Christ is presented from the great theological wealth of the multiplicity of texts that invite to a deepening of the expressive, spiritual and sacramental power of the Eucharist.
